Why Create a Work Order Schedule?

Sockeye Mar 6, 2015

A weekly schedule will tell you what you're very expensive maintenance department is doing to justify it's existence. Instead of fighting fires, they'll be proactively maintaining you're equipment thereby preventing unscheduled downtime. You'll buy a measure of certainty as to what equipment will be down for maintenance + PMs. You'll be spending money only on the parts for work that will be scheduled, not for every part that could be purchased for every WO on the backlog.Maintenance Planner / Scheduler,  Resource Extraction
