Sockeye Technologies Incorporated (“SockTech”) launched in 2014 to address an acute shortage of software built specifically to support the efforts in simplifying work order scheduling and managing crew utilization.

Working directly with organizations over the past 20 years, Sockeye founders realized a need to fix the lack of scheduling functionality in CMMS software, by offering a solution that integrates directly, producing real-time data and an easy to use interface that automates the work order scheduling process.

Charles Hamer

CEO

Charles has served in the tech sector for over 25 years. Prior to founding the company, Charles served as the President of Resonance Software Inc., a boutique provider of sophisticated workforce management solutions. Charles took this small and relatively unknown company to become a respected provider of mission critical solutions to luminaries including Georgia- Pacific, Frito-Lay and Weyerhaeuser. He has served as VP Operations and VP Business Development and has also led a development team.

Stephen Bisanz

Founder, CTO

Stephen Bisanz, Founder, Chief Technical Officer: Stephen has over 25 years of experience covering virtually every aspect of software design and development, including product management, requirements, analysis, design, engineering, QA, usability, and technical support.  He is dedicated and detail-oriented with a proven track record in delivering successful solutions to global organizations.
Stephen studied Computer Science at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Cognitive Science at Simon Fraser University.

Brad Williams

CFO

Over the last 15 years Brad has held, CEO, President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles for companies. Brad has assisted in raising over $30 million in funds, lead the sales and diligence processes for several exits (including a $370M exit), lead and completed 3 CPC (capital pool companies) processes, completed a CCAA restructuring and more. Brad is a Board member and the head of the finance/audit committees with VIATeC (Victoria Advanced Technology Council) and Power to Be Adventure Therapy.

Katie Sewell

Director of Marketing

Katie's career started off in the Advertising business working in Finance and Tech, where she was heavily involved with brand strategy, direct and email marketing, creative development and consumer analytics.  Moving through her career Katie adapted her skillsets working directly on the client side and evolved into digtial marketing and lead generation, driving the revenue engine through inbound marketing. With almost 15 years of Marketing expertise, Katie's understanding of the B2B and B2C markets is enormous, providing a high-level ability to understand the customer's journey and developing strategies to create the inbound revenue companies need to succeed.

Christine Banham

Christine Banham

Client Implementation

Right now, Christine helps schedulers make awesome things happen with Sockeye Technologies, a versatile platform that can be used with your current CMMS. Prior to joining the Sockeye team Christine’s experiences are within the Maintenance departments actively as a Scheduler, Planner and Subject Matter Expert for mining, oil and gas industries. In these roles she focused on improving and generating strong process development, coaching and CMMS program implementation to help minimize costs and improve standardization. Christine is passionate about working with maintenance teams to provide standard training materials and gather data in order to expand opportunities within your maintenance programs.
